Xingang Beijing Four Days Tour

Day 1. Entry Beijing, Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City
Be met by private vehicle and English speaking tour guide from Xingang port.
Be transferred to hotel. After a short rest in hotel, Visit Tiananmen Square and Forbidden City. Be transferred back to hotel. (Lunch)

Tiananmen Square: the biggest downtown Square of the world.
Forbidden City : also called Palace Museum and is located at the center of Beijing. It was the imperial palace during the Ming and Qing dynasties. Rectangular in shape, Forbidden City is the world's largest palace complex Be picked up from Xingang port at around 08:00 to 08:30 am. Drive 2 and half hours to the famous Badaling Great Wall and Then we will visit the Ming Tombs (Changling).

Day 2. Badaling Great Wall, Ming Tombs
Be picked up from hotel at 08:30 am.
Drive one and half hours to the famous Badaling Great Wall and Then we will visit the Ming Tombs (Changling). Drive back to Beijing city to have Beijing Roast Duck for Dinner. Be transferred back to hotel after the whole days tour. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Changling: Located 60 Kilometers north of Beijing, Ming Tombs consist of mausoleums of 13 Ming emperors. Changling is the most famous one. Construction of the Changling was started in 1409 and completed in 1427.
Badaling Great Wall: Badaling is the most famous section of Great Wall, well maintained, easy for travelers to walk along the defensive project of ancient China.

Day 3. Temple of Heaven, Lama Temple, Summer Palace, Beijing Opera
Be picked up from hotel at 08:30 am.
Visit Temple of Heaven. Take sightseeing in the attraction for one hour. After lunch in a local restaurant, visit Lama Temple. Then we will drive to Summer palace. Take sightseeing for 1 to 1.5 hours. Have dinner in a restaurant with Beijing local favor. Enjoy Beijing opera in theatre. Be transferred back to your hotel after the whole day tour. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Temple of Heaven: Built in 1420, Temple of Heaven is the best preserved and largest sacrificial building complex in the world.
Lama Temple: (Yonghegong), or Palace of Peace and Harmony Lama Temple or Yonghegong Lamsery, a renowned lama temple of the Yellow Hat Sect of Lamaism, is situated in the northeast part of Beijing city. Lama Temple features five large halls and five courtyards with beautifully decorative archways, upturned eaves and carved details. It houses a treasury of Buddhist art, including sculptured images of gods, demons and Buddhas, as well as Tibetan-style murals.
Summer palace : 20 kilometers northwest of downtown Beijing. Summer Palace is the largest imperial garden of Ming and Qing dynasty. The whole Summer Palace covers an area of over 290 hectares including more than 3,000 buildings, such as halls, pavilions, towers, etc. Beijing Opera: is deemed the national opera of China. The accompanying music, singing and costumes are full of Chinese cultural facts. It presents an encyclopedia of Chinese culture as well as unfolding stories, beautiful paintings, exquisite costumes and graceful gestures.

Day 4. Beijing Hutong Tour, Departure
Be picked up from hotel at 08:30 am.
Be transferred to Beijing Hutong. After lunch in a Mongolia-Chinese restaurant, be transferred to Xingang port. (Breakfast, Lunch).

Hutong: is a kind of typical ancient city alley in Beijing. Many of them were built during the Yuan (1206-1341), Ming (1368-1628) and Qing (1644-1908) dynasties surrounding the Forbidden City. During these dynasties, the emperors planned the city and arranged the residential areas according to the etiquette systems of the Zhou Dynasty to establish supreme power

6. Visit to Chinese arts shop is included. These shops are registered in National Tourism Bureau. There is no fake product in these shops. You may buy some Chinese gift in these places. Please let us know if you are not interested in this. We will cancel the shop visit according to your request; but no refund will be made.
7. You will walk a long distance with this four days trip. A pair of soft and comfortable shoes is helpful.
8. Our driver will drive directly to the foot of Great Wall. Cable car is not necessary.
9. We will visit Ming Tombs on the morning and Great Wall in the afternoon. This will insure that you can have lunch on time and have enough time on Great Wall. The Great Wall is very beautiful when the sun is on the west.
