Carpet
With 2200 years historyc, Chinese carpet has its origins in the north-west of the country in the area around Xinjiang. In 1978 an archaeologist working from Xinjiang discovered a fragment of woollen fabric thought to be three thousand years old and which is likely to be the forerunner of the tufted carpet. Cloisonne
Chinese Cloisonne is also called "Enamel with copper roughcast and inlayed copper wire" abbreviated for Enamel and usually called cloisonn¨¦ . Cloisonn¨¦ is a unique art form that originated in Beijing during the Yuan Dynasty (1271 - 1368). In the period titled 'Jingtai' during the Ming Dynasty (1368 - 1644), the emperor who was very much interested in bronze-casting techniques, improved the color process, and created the bright blue that appealed to the Oriental aesthetic sense. Chinese jade culture
The history of jade is as long as the Chinese civilization. Chinese began to know and use jade in the early Neolithic period (about 5000 BC) .
