Butterfly Spring

The Butterfly Spring lies 20 kilometers northwest of Dali city, Yunnan province. It is square in shape with 20 meters in circumference. Shaded under many tall trees, it looks like a crystal.
Every spring and early summer, all kinds of flowers are blooming here, which attract large number of butterflies. Thousands of butterflies are in different shape, different size and different colors. Sometimes, they join together one after another and form a long colored string hanging from the tree branches right over the surface of water. It is really a marvelous spectacle.
