Nengren
Temple, located on the eastern outskirts of Jiujiang City, is one of the
main temples in China, with the largest ancient structures in the city.
Nengren
Temple was first built during 502 and 549 in the Southern Dynasties and
was rebuilt in 1870 in the Qing Dynasty. The seven-storied Great Victory
Pagoda, beside the temple, dates from the Song Dynasties.
Covering
an area of 3,000 square meters, Nengren Temple has
many magnificent buildings. The most famous are Dasheng Temple, Stone
boat, Iron Buddha, Twin Sun Bridge, Hui'er Spring and Icy Hill and Snow
Cave.
