Kunming 3 Days Minority Tour

Day 1. Kunming
Arrive at Kunming.
Be met and transferred to your hotel.
Have city tours to Grand View Park. Sitting on the northern shores of the Dian Lake, completed in 1690 during the Qing Dynasty, the park consists of hills, ponds, pavilions and rockeries in a style similar to that of the gardens of the Yangtze River Delta.
Move on to visit the Yuantong Temple, a Buddhist temple with a history of over 1,200 years. It is the largest of its kind in Kunming.
Be transferred to hotel after the tour.

Day 2. Kunming
Be picked up from the hotel in the morning.
Visit Stone Forest.
Located 98 kms southwest of Kunming, Kunming Stone Forest is one of most remarkable natural phenomena of China. It consists of 80 hectares of innumerable bizarre-shaped ancient limestone cliffs and peaks created by wind and water erosion some 270 million years ago. The Stone Forest area is the home of the Sani minority, a branch of the Yi tribe (reputed for their diligence, valour, wisdom, exquisite embroidery and melodious songs and graceful dances) who also offer cultural performances nightly.
Then we will take a visit to Market of birds and flowers, a part of a series of streets and markets in central Kunming where an attempt has been made to preserve some of the typical architecture of the region. Traditional wooden houses with grass growing from their roofs line the streets where a variety of products are sold, including of course a small alley devoted to flowers and cage birds.
Be transferred to hotel after the tour.

Day 3. Kunming & Departure
Be picked up from the hotel in the morning.
Visit Yunnan Minority Village.
The Nationalities Villages are situated by Dianchi Lake, 6 kilometers south of Kunming, covering about 133.3 hectares. Yunnan is an epitome of the family of the Chinese nation. There are 56 nationalities in China and 52 of them live in Yunnan. Among them 26 each has a population of more than 5,000, about 14 each has all or most of their population living in Yunnan and about 14 are cross-border nationalities.
Visit The Dragon Gate on Xishan/West Hill, the natural forest park in Kunming. The carvings on the cliff were made in 1751. Transfer from Folklore Village to the Dragon Gate by Cable Car.
Be transferred to the airport for departure.
