Detail Itinerary of Lijiang 3 Days Leisure Tour

Day 1. Arrival in Lijiang

Our guide will pick you up at Lijiang airport and transfer you to the hotel. Visit the Square Street of the Lijiang Old Town. The town was built in the late song dynasty and the early Yuan dynasty and was listed by the UNESCO on the list of the world's major cultural heritages in 1997. Have a tour to the Baisha Village, a place you cannot afford to miss as it is a living showcase of ancient Dongba culture. Move on to visit the local Naxi family, where travelers can enjoy the Naxi Minorities evening party and Naxi farmer food. Then we will have a look at the Baisha Murals. With the spread of the Buddhism, people painted plenty of murals on the walls in temples since Ming Dynasty. Then visit the Rock Joseph's Former Residence in Yuhu Village, A simple village of Naxi minority with the former residence of Dr. Joseph Rock. Dr. Rock is best remembered for one of the first westerners to spread the long-isolated Naxi culture worldwide and his rigorous works on Naxi ethnology. Afterward, Enjoy the Naxi Ancient Music and Dance Performance at Dongba Palace. Be transferred to hotel after the tour. (Lunch, Dinner)

Day 2. Lijiang
Full day is free. As you walk through the old town, you immediately get an overwhelming feeling of historical significance with your eyes absorb the 1,000 year-old small bridges, swift canals, cobbled streets and grey tiled roofs. Meanwhile, enjoy yourself with both the Western and Chinese food in the town. (Breakfast)


Day 3. Departure
Be picked up from your hotel and transferred to airport for departure. (Breakfast)
