Yangpu
and Nanpu bridges are, at 7,658 and 8,346 metres respectively, among the
longest bridges of the world. They cross the Huangpu River, connecting
Pudong to Puxi. The distance between two bridges is 11 kilometers. Both
are of the double cable-stayed suspension type with a long span.
The
two bridges of the Huangpu River combined with the Oriental Pearl Tower
form the magnificent view of "two dragons playing the pearl".
