Description
Yangtze Hotel Shanghai, completed in 1934, was the third largest hotel
in the Far East at the time. The hotel, fashioned in the continental
style and located in the heart of Shanghai¡¯s Central Business District,
has been providing first-class service to guests for almost 70 years.
In 1997, the Yangtze underwent a major refurbishment program, which
saw the introduction of broadband Internet access to all rooms. In
addition to this, FDDI services, electronic safes, fax machines, modern
amenities, and voice-mail systems were made available in all rooms.
