Ancient City of Yoktan

Ancient City of Yoktan is located 10 Km west of Hetian, Xinjing region. Yoktan was once an important city in the ancient Yutian, although today only remains are available. Many relics have been excavated including pottery figurines, bronze Buddhas, oracles, ancient coins, books items of gold and jade and so on, which all give the evidence to the past prosperity. Christian coins and a cross found here shows that this city used to be a Buddhism Center.
