Zhangjiajie Fenghuang 5 Days Tour

Day.1 Arrival in Zhangjiajie
Arrive in Zhangjiajie by flight, after a warm welcome from your guide you will be transferred to your hotel in Wulingyuan.

Day.2 Zhangjiajie---Huangshizhai/Golden whip stream
Today’s attractions: Huangshizhai (Yellow stone village or Yellow stone stronghold), Golden Whip Stream.Zhangjiajie is famous for its exquisite forests, which are home of huge, leaf-covered stone pinnacles that rise right from the level ground. Now let’s get ready for some jaw-dropping panoramic views. Huangshizhai, in English is yellow stone stronghold, and the largest view stands in Zhangjiajie. There are numerous standout points for stunning views, from which you can see nearly half the peaks of Zhangjiajie. There is a popular saying goes that if you didn’t visit Huangshizhai, you can’t claim that you have come to Zhangjiajie. You can take convenience of cable car in Huangshizhai. Hiking in Huangshizhai is a great opportunity for challenge (flexible according to your hiking ability).
Golden Whip Stream is famous for its pristine water, verdant mountains, steep cliffs and serene valley. As a veritable paradise for plants, its pathways are adorned by abundance of flowers, trees, and grasses. The place is also a kingdom fit for various fauna birds, fish and land animals. It is a good chance to walk 2-3 hours for 7.5 km long in the great valley in Zhangjiajie. Admission fee is ￥248 for 2 days, ￥301 for week ticket. Yellow stone stronghold cable ￥48 one way. Day.3 Zhangjiajie---Yuanjiajie/Tianzi Mount/Shilihualang
Todays attractions: Yuanjiajie, Tianzishan mountain
Ascend virgin Yuanjiajie scenic area overlook wonder view by super elevator, on summit platform you will see heaven and earth pillar unpredictable and prototype mountain of the movie AVATAR directed by Jame Cameron. Bailong elevator is the world engineering wonder in this scenic spot, which outtands as the world tallest one with the height of 326 meters, it take 1.58 seconds to transport tourists from the bottom to the top of Yuanjiajie, exhibiting unbelievable and fantastic views of the mountains. -Attractions in Tianzishan mountain are Helong Park, western sea stone forest, imperial writing brush and fairy maid disperse flowers.
Tianzi Mountain means Kings mountain in English, they name this mountain to memorize its Tujia minority chief-Xiang Dakuns who uprising in Ming dynasty 500 years ago and was recorded in history. Xiang Dakun is honored as king.
In Tianzi Mountain the huge forests of pillars stand foursquare against the distant blue hills, which announced themselves to be the very treasures that UNESCO declares them to be.-
Geological speaking, Tianzi Mountain enjoys distinctive shape nowadays. The rock formation here is older than that in Yuanjiajie, you will have fantastic experience of stunning views. The fee of bailong elevator is￥56, tianzi mountain cable is ￥52.
Take a tour to Shilihualang (10-li picturesque gallery valley), one way electric train; one way walk about 30 Minutes. Sightseeing for stunning view. Complete Zhangjiajie tour, transfer to Zhangjiajie airport for your next destination. (Breakfast)

Day.4 Zhangjiajie---Furong old town/Fenghuang
After breakfast we will drive 4 hours to Fenghuang and visit Furong Town on the way to it.Today’s Attractions in Furong old town:Furong Town is originally named Wangcun. It is an ancient town where Tujiazu people live together. Even today, the pavements laid in this town are black flagstones and ancient domestic houses (mainly Diaojiaolou) are well preserved. The famous movie Furong Town directed by Xiejin is shot here. At Furong Town, you should really try the local specialty -- “rice tofu” which became famous for the movie.Stay in Fenghuang for 2 nights, in the evening we have chance to see colorful night life.

Day.5 Fenghuang
Today’s Attractions in Fenghuang Admission ￥148There are many tourist sites in this fascinating riverside town, including ancient city walls and gate towers. Travelers can climb up to the higher place and overlooking the river and hoary temples dotted in the old town. Those traveling activities can easily fill a couple of days of your journey. Since the place is home of a lively population of the Miao and Tujia minorities, have a sightseeing here is the best way to see Fenghuang. Many of the back alleys in the old town maintain an intriguing charm, such as a treasure trove of old family pharmacists, traditional shops, temples, ancestral halls and crumbling dwellings. Restored fragments of the city wall lie along the south bank of the Tuo River in the old town and a few dilapidated chunks survive in some other place.
Main attractions in the famous writer – Shen congwen old house, pirme minister -Xiongxiling old house,
Tuojiang river boat tour, Wanshougong –artist house, Hongqiao bridge art house,In the afternoon we willdrive back to Zhangjiajie city and transfer to zhangjiajie airport.
