Beijing One Day Tour to Mutianyu Great Wall and Hongluo Temple

Drive to the Hongluo Temple. Situated at the southern foot of the Hongluo Mountain, Hongluo Temple was frist built in the Christian era 338 of Xian Kang reign in Dongjin Dynasty (317-1644). Covering an area of 800 hectares, the temple is one of the largest and most extensive Buddhist temples in China. Three main attractions of the temple are the "imperial bamboo forest", gingkoes in pair" and "pines entangled with wisteria".

After lunch, drive to Mutianyu Great Wall. Mutianyu was first built in the mid-6th century. It is the longest fully-restored Great Wall with 22 original style watchtowers. Mutianyu Great Wall features picturesque landscape with 90% forest coverage rate. The scenery in spring and autumn is excellent. Mutianyu Great Wall is not so crowded as Badaling section.
Take sightseeing on Mutianyu Great Wall for 2 hours.

Be transferred back to your hotel after the tour. (Lunch)
