Drive to the Ming Tombs. The Ming Tombs is the final resting place of 13 Ming Dynasty emperors, along with 23 empresses and a number of concubines. It has a history of over 600 years. Surrounded by mountains on three sides, the Ming Tombs features splendid landscape. Chang Ling (the Tomb of Chang) was built by the third emperor of the Ming Dynasty in 1409 AD. Chang Ling is the largest tomb in architectural scale. The hall of Chang Ling is the largest structure of nanmu wood in China.
Then Visit Juyongguan Great Wall. Juyongguan Great Wall was built during the Ming Dynasty(1368-1644). Situated in a beautiful valley, Juyongguan was once listed as one of the eight best sceneries in Beijing. Buddhist carvings on a stone platform and the "cloud terrace" in the middle of the pass also worth seeing. Being the closest section to Beijing city, it is a good choice if you do not have much time in Beijing.
About 18:00, transfer back to your hotel after the whole day tour. (Lunch)
