Beijing One Day Tour to Juyongguan Great Wall and Summer Palace

Drive to visit Juyongguan Great Wall. Juyongguan Great Wall was built during the Ming Dynasty(1368-1644). Situated in a beautiful valley, Juyongguan was once listed as one of the eight best sceneries in Beijing. Buddhist carvings on a stone platform and the "cloud terrace" in the middle of the pass also worth seeing. Being the closest section to Beijing city, it is a good choice if you do not have much time in Beijing.

Then drive back to Beijing city to visit Summer Palace. Summer Palace was first built in 1750 by Emperor Qianlong in Qing Dynasty. It covers an area of 2.9 square kilometers, including 70,000 square meters of building space. Summer Palace perfectly combines the natural landscape of hills and open water with humankind works such as pavilions, halls, palaces and bridges. In 1998, UNESCO included the Summer Palace on its World Heritage List.

About 18:00, transfer back to your hotel after the whole day tour. (Lunch)
