Guangzhou One Day City Tour of Shamian Island and Ersha Island

Visit Shamian Island. Shamian Island is a sand band island in the Liwan District of Guangzhou. It was divided into two concessions, given to France and the United Kingdom, by the government of Qing Dynasty in the 19th century. The land boasts many trees and pleasant environment, together with European buildings, organizations, sports and entertainment facilities. Due to the transportation restriction on the island, there is no traffic jam and air pollution on the land.

Then we will visit Huacheng Square. Located in Zhujiang New Town's CBD, Huacheng Square is the largest square in Guangzhou. The square coves 560,000 square meters, with idyllic-like surroundings. Walking in the square, we can appreciate the grand view of Canton Tower across the Pearl River. There are 39 buildings aroud the square, including Guangzhou New Library, Guangzhou New Museum, Guangzhou Opera House, Guangzhou No. 2 Children's Palace, and Guangzhou International Financing Center, etc.

Move on to visitGuangdong Provencial Museum. The new builing of Guangdong Provincial Museum looks like a delicate ancient openwork container of treasures. It covers an area of 41027 square meters. There are main four exhibition halls, in terms of Guangdong History and Culture, Guangdong Natural Resource, Guangdong Art and a temporary exhibition hall. Various cultural relics from Guangdong are displayed here, including ceramics, paintings, ink stabs, wood sculptures, coins and so on.

Have an outside view of Guangzhou Tower and Zhujiang River.

Be transferred back to your hotel after the tour.
