11 Days Guizhou and Guilin Tour Package

Day 01. Arrival at Guiyang
Upon arrival at Guiyang Airport you are met by our English speaking tour guide and transfered to the Hotel.
In the afternoon we will visit Qianling Park, named after Mount Qianling which incorporates the soul and spirit of the Guizhou Plateau. More than 1,500 kinds of trees, flowers, plants and over 1000 kinds of rare medicinal herbs grow naturally on the mountain.
Visit Hongfu Temple which was built during the early Qing Dynasty (1644 – 1911)

Day 02. Guiyang – Anshun- Huangguoshu (2.5 hours ride)One-day tour to Huangguoshu Waterfall.
The Huangguoshu Waterfall, the largest waterfall in Asia, is 74 metres high and 81 metres wide. Hidden behind the waterfall is a 134-metre long Water-Curtain Cave with fantastic stalactites. Situated in Zhengning County, it is located in a karst area 1500 metres above sea level. The region has long been known for its scenic beauty of crisscrossing streams and alternating peaks and gorges. Visit Stone Village, home to the ethnic Buyi minority.
Afternoon we will drive for 0.5 hours to reach Tianlong Village. The ancestors of these villagers migrated from Jiangxi Province to Guizhou Province during the Ming Dynasty (1368 – 1644). Women here are still dressed in traditional Ming dynasty costumes, and houses remain faithful to the Ming architectural styles. We will watch a local opera performance called ‘Ground Opera’, famed for the performers' symbolic masks. Drive back to Guiyang. (Breakfast, Lunch)

Day 03. Guiyang-Kaili.Drive about 3 hours to Kaili.
After lunch visit Qingman, a quiet village inhabited by the Folded & Silk Felt Miao, and learn about their culture.
Move on to visit a Miao village to see the traditional paper making. (Breakfast, Lunch)

Day 04. Kaili – Xijiang(40 minutes ride) – Datang (1hour ride)- Rongjiang (3 hours ride)
Overnight at Rongjiang 3* Dongxiangmi Hotel (best in local)Drive about 40 minutes to visit Xijiang Miao village—the largest Miao village in China with more than 1000 families.
After this we will continue our journey to Datang, a Miao village with an aquatic granary and the Miao women's ‘Mini skirt’.
After lunch meet and visit Shui people on the way to Rongjiang. (Breakfast, Lunch)

DAY 05. Rongjiang – Congjiang (2hours ride)– Zhaoxing
On the way we will visit Basha, a small Miao village with very little signs of modern influence. The local people rarely venture out of the village except for selling firewood and shopping for daily necessities in markets. Both the men and women can be seen in traditional costumes, wearing their hair long.
Two more hours drive will take us to Zhaoxing, one of the largest Dong villages in the region, with more than 700 households and a population of 4000. (Breakfast, Lunch)

Day 06. Zhaoxing-Sanjiang（4.5 hours ride）
Morning visit Tang’an Dong village to see the drum tower.
On the way enjoy the nice view of terraced paddy.
While get to Sanjiang drive to visit Chengyangqiao Dong village which is famous by one of the most beautiful bridge. (Breakfast, Lunch)

Day 07. Sanjiang
Visit the Dong Nationality Village including the Shelter Bridge.
Have a free time.

Day 8. Longsheng
Pick up from hotel and drive to Longsheng to visit the Terraced Fields, the Zhuang Minority villages.
The terraced fields are built along the slope winding from the riverside up to the mountaintop, with the highest place of an elevation of 885m and the lowest 380m. The coiling line spirals up from the mountain foot to the top, making the mountain looks like huge snail seen afar.
Back to Guilin and transfer to the hotel.

Day 9. Guilin - Yangshuo
Pick up from hotel in the morning and drive one hour to the Zhujiang Pier for a 4.5 hours Li Rive cruise with lunch aboard. Enjoy the picturesque mountains, peaceful green fields, farms and villages with water buffalos, cows wondering around on both sides of the river bank.
Disembark at the one-thousand-year-old town YangShuo - one-thousand-year-old town, a lovely and relaxing place to break a journey and to soak up some of China's most beautiful scenery. Sightseeing in this old town in the afternoon. Stay overnight in YangShuo. (Brakfast, Lunch)

Day 10. Free Day in Yangshuo
Today is free. You can find a tiny and enigmatic world with the breathtaking scene and have a pot of tea in a sidewalk cafe feeling totally relaxed.
You also can rent a bicycle to visit the Moon Hill-with a round through moon shaped cave on the upper part of the hill and the Big Banian Tree.

Day 11. Departure
Transfer back to Guilin.
Visit the Reed Flute Cave -Known as "the Palace of Natural Arts" contains beautiful
stalactites and stalagmites.
Then we will visit the Elephant Trunk Hill -the symbol of Guilin, looks like a giant elephant with a long trunk.
Proceed to visit the Fubo Hill -with lots of rock stone carvings and Buddha statues since Tang Dynasty, and from the summit you may have a bird's-eye view of Guilin city.
Transfer to airport for departure.
