6 Days Guizhou Minority Tour Package

Day 1. Qingyan Ancient Town (L,D)
Arrive Guiyang in the morning, our tour guide meet you and transfer to hotel for check in.
Afternoon tour to Qingyan Ancient Town, which was originally built in 1378 and covers an area of 741 acres. Because of its long history and cultural, Qingyan Ancient Town has become an attractive destination for both domestic and foreign tourists.

Day 2. Guiyang-Huangguoshu-Guiyang (B,L,D)
Visit Huangguoshu Waterfall ( about 2.5 hours ride ). This is the largest waterfall in Asia ( 74 meters high and 81 meters wide ). Hidden behind the waterfall is a 134-metre long Water-Curtain Cave with fantastic stalactites.  
Afternoon tour to the Old Han (Chinese) ethnic group - Yufengtun Village ( about 1.5 hours ride ). The ancestors of these villagers migrated from Jiangxi Province to Guizhou Province during the Ming Dynasty (1368 – 1644). Women here are still dressed in traditional Ming dynasty costumes, and houses remain faithful to the Ming architectural styles. You watch a local opera performance called ‘Ground Opera’, famed for the performers' symbolic masks.
Return to Guiyang in later afternoon.

Day 3. Guiyang-Kaili (B,L,D)
Depart to Kaili ( about 3 hours ride ) to visit Kaili Minority Museum, one of the "100 Distinctive Museums of China", is entitled "the Origin of Chinese Folk Arts",
and Wengxiang Miao Village, locally known as the "land of ginger" or "the vegetable home" because of the excellent climate.

Day 4. Kaili – Jidao – Datang -Kaili  (B,L,D)
We’ll drive about 40 minutes to visit Xijiang Miao village—the largest Miao village in China with more than 1000 families.
After visit, continue your journey to Datang, a Miao village with an aquatic granary and the Miao women's ‘Mini skirt’.  

Day 5.  Kaili-Guiyang (B,L,D)
Depart for Qingman, a quiet village inhabited by the Folded & Silk Felt Miao, and learn about their culture and to see and learn how the traditional paper being made. Return to Guiyang after visit.

Day 6.  Guiyang (B,L)
Morning tour to Qianling Park, named after Mount Qianling which incorporates the soul and spirit of the Guizhou Plateau. More than 1,500 kinds of trees, flowers, plants and over 1000 kinds of rare medicinal herbs grow naturally on the mountain. Then visit Hongfu Temple which was built during the early Qing Dynasty (1644 – 1911). Take flight leaving Guiyang in the afternoon.
