Datong volcano group: Datong volcano group is one of Quaternary volcanic group in China. More than 30 volcanoes have been found at present. They are rare geological historical relics.
Fahua Temple: Fahua Temple was first built in the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). It is also called Pagoda Temple because its most important building is Fahua Pagoda. The pagoda is only glazed Lama pagoda existing in Datong. It houses a volume of Lotus Sutra. The temple is spectacular and grand. The brick and wood carvings in the halls are exquisite.
