Culture background:
Zheng He (1371-1435), or Cheng Ho, is the most famous navigator of China in Ming Dynasty. He sailed from China to many places including South Pacific, Indian Ocean, Taiwan Island, Persian Gulf and distant Africa in seven voyages from 1405 to 1433. His sailing is some 80 years before Columbus's voyages.

Jinghai Temple was the negotiation place of “Nanjing Treaty”. The cession of Hong Kong was decided here. Tianfei Palace was rebuilt for the celebration of the 600 anniversary of Zheng He’s voyage to the west.
Keep on our tour to visit Nanjing Treasure Dockyard Relics. A British scholar once pointed out: the technique of shipbuilding of China was “ way ahead of Europe” at that time.
