Eight
Outer Monasteries are outside the surrounding wa ll of the Mountain Resort
of Chengde in Hebei Province.
They were built in a semicircle on the mountain
slopes on the east and north of the Mountain Resort, orderly , Puren Temple,
Pule Temple , Puyou Temple, Anyuan Temple, Puning Temple, Xumifushouzhi
Temple, Putuozongchengzhi Temple and Shuxiang Temple.
The constructions
show a harmonic combination of the Han, Mongolian and Tibetan architectural
style.
The formation of the Eight Outer Temples is the miniature of the
glorious land of our motherland.
